I started boatbuilding in 1973 after leaving school. Since then I have been involved in a wide range of projects, but on the whole I have specialized in wooden boat restoration. Many of my more recent jobs have been Lottery funded, including the Thames barge Thalatta and the Kings Lynn cockler Baden Powell.
I am available for all wooden boat work in the South East and am available for Yacht and Boat surveys nationally. I specialize in wooden boats and older craft, either insurance surveys or pre-purchase surveys.
I also build the 12ft Smacks Boat, a traditional GRP lugsail dinghy and the 14ft Whitehall rowing skiff.
